Hydrotherapy must always respect the person’s current condition.

In cases of acute illness, fever, infection, open wounds, significant cardiovascular conditions, unstable blood pressure, pregnancy or uncertainty regarding the use of warm water and hydromassage, individual use should be discussed with a physician or another qualified healthcare professional.

Dose also matters.

Water that is excessively hot, a session that is too long or hydromassage that is too intense can become an additional burden.
